Sustainable building
Total emissions from residential and commercial buildings make up nearly half of CO2 emissions in the United States — more than either transportation and industry, the two other surveyed sectors. Over the next 25 years, CO2 emissions from buildings are projected to grow faster than any other sector.
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is the standard in green building. LEED-certified buildings reduce costs, conserve resources, and have a positive impact on the health and well-being of their occupants.
Fisher employs LEED AP pros, who have built exemplary models of sustainable design and construction, which number among California’s most energy-efficient buildings:
- LEED Platinum: Crissy Field Center
- LEED Platinum: Land’s End Overlook
- LEED: Bregante & Co.
- LEED Gold (equivalent): West E
