Presidio Greenhouse Complex

San Francisco’s Presidio, the only urban national park in the United States, is home to myriad native plant species. Stewards of this sensitive habitat conceived of a state-of-the-art, energy neutral greenhouse complex to serve the growing needs of the park. Fisher performed extensive site work, installed underground utilities and poured a unique concrete foundation. For the plant & seed lab, the client chose a net-zero energy, pre-fab building by local Zeta Communities, which was set on the new foundation. Fisher also erected a greenhouse on the site.
