Socially-aware, luxury upstart Maiyet recently opened its first boutique on a quaint and slightly off the beaten path cobblestone street in Manhattan’s Soho district. The 2,500-sf space boasts a deep brick facade and black steel. The store’s chic interior beauty rests in the detail. White walls bathed in sunlight set off by the light oak floors. There’s a feature wall filled with hand-foxed mirrors and did we mention dressing rooms wrapped in cashmere? With this flagship, the founders certainly capture the spirit of the brand, minimalist, artisan luxury with a social purpose. Photo credit: Andrew Rowat.
