Letterman Digital Arts Center

One Letterman Drive, The Presidio

Built in 2005 to LEED Gold standards, The Letterman Digital Arts Center is home to some of San Francisco’s most exclusive firms. Fisher has extensive experience working in occupied, Class A office environments and public spaces. We’ve renovated thousands of restrooms but none with such an aggressive schedule requiring flawless execution and zero margin for error. Our challenge: to renovate 23 pairs of existing restrooms across the sprawling four-building campus quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption to building tenants. Of equal importance is achieving the client’s exacting standards for quality. During the pre-construction phase, Fisher carefully planned out the sequencing by working closely with our trusted subcontractors and vendors to develop a continuous 24/7 schedule. Our teams renovated four pairs of restrooms at a time with a three-week project duration. They worked around the clock doing selective demolition, installing custom flooring, wall coverings, ceilings and super premium plumbing and electrical fixtures. Our scope also included modifying existing HVAC, electrical and fire sprinklers to accommodate the improvements.
