Vol 1
New Year's Issue January 2022
Hello 2022!

Well, how are you? Hoping you had a happy, restful, Covid-free holiday and that your year is off to a great start. While it can feel like two steps forward, one step back, I know most of us are eternal optimists as we look forward to what the new year will bring. We ended the year on a high note with the Fisher holiday party. It felt great to be together live, in-person and mask-free. Kudos to Chris Attard who did a fabulous job organizing the delicious lunch, the service awards and the white elephant festivities. And I can’t forget the beer exchange!! A brilliant but equally caloric alternative to the cookie exchange.

Once we get past this current surge, I hope we’ll have more frequent gatherings whether it’s all-company or smaller groups getting together casually.

As I reached the 20-year mark myself, I’m truly humbled by everyone who has come before and after me, whose work toward a common goal of building phenomenal projects with the quality, integrity and spirit has come to define the Fisher brand.

Hands down, the best idea we’ve come up with to honor our values is the Susan Kalian Distinguished Employee Award. Our inaugural recipient was Terry Munden, and in 2020, Rose Mitchell took the prize. Rose defines company stewardship; she protects our interests by going above & beyond, wide and deep. And she always does it with humility, kindness and grace.

I hope you’re all as excited as I am for what 2022 will bring–collectively, we’re a super talented group of builders and there are many opportunities on Fisher’s horizon to build some cool stuff!

So, let’s get after it!
