FDI BUILDS AWARD - WINNING STORE IN LAS VEGAS

Perfect Blend of Old World Elegance and Polished Modern Design

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (September 13, 2011) — VMSD Magazine announced the winners of its 2011 Retail Renovation Competition. Hugo Boss' new luxury boutique at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas received Honorable Mention in the specialty store category for selling space under 10,000 square feet. Only one other store received an award in this category. Fisher Development was the general contractor.

Building in a casino has its unique challenges. Chief among them: all work had to be performed at night without disturbing the Venetian's patrons. And the stakes were high since the 2,200 square foot space was located next to the high roller tables!  FDI preserved the ornamental fireplace and repaired the handsome ceiling molding and crystal chandelier. The level 5 finish and German-imported fixtures gives this store its sleek, modern aesthetic that is signature Hugo Boss.

In 2008, Hugo Boss’ flagship store on Michigan Avenue took first prize in this completion. Fisher Development also served as general contractor on this project.
