Fisher Development Named in Two Award-Winning Projects
HANNspree Wins Grand Prize and West Elm Receives Outstanding Merit for 2006 Retail Design Awards nasfm
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., (April 6, 2006) — Fisher Development, Inc. announced today that it received recognition in its role as general contractor for two award-winning store designs.
HANNspree, a Tawain-based electronics retailer, took the Grand Prize in the category of hardline specialty stores ranging from 3,001-25,000 square feet for its location near Union Square in Downtown San Francisco. The 9,500 square foot store features sparse white fixtures and an impressive curved glass staircase.
West Elm, Williams-Sonoma Inc.’s popular new home furniture brand, received Outstanding Merit for its new store at Highland Village in Houston. The 17,000 square foot space drew praise for its open floor plan and raw finishes that the company plans to implement in new freestanding and mall stores.
The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (nasfm), announced the award recipients March 26 at Global Shop.
