Marketing / Business Development Coordinator — San Francisco

ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Marketing / Business Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Vice Presidents of Marketing and Business Development in implementing company strategy and in achieving corporate revenue goals. As part of the Marketing team, the Coordinator is a steward of the FDI brand, developing and managing marketing collateral and FDI-sponsored events. This position is also responsible for researching and managing new business leads and assisting in developing these leads into FDI clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain company online leads/contacts database for the Business Development Department
- Generate regular sales reports from company online database
- Assist in Marketing, Business Development and Communications tasks essential to the company
- Brainstorm and assist in developing marketing collateral including but not limited to; new business proposals & presentations, RFPs, mailings, project plans, correspondence, company literature and advertising
- Update company website content
- Assist in company event and trade show planning
- Manage client satisfaction surveys
- Conduct research on competition within the industry
- Manage company photography and other graphic imagery
- Perform basic graphic and design work
- Establish, organize and maintain filing systems
- Perform administrative functions such as data entry, typing, copying, faxing and filing
THE MINIMUM DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field and three years of marketing experience or equivalent combination of education, training and practical work experience
- Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
- Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize and manage and complete multiple tasks
- Must possess very strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence and reports
- Requires the ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Must be proactive and be able to work towards goals with self direction
- Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office including strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and internet based software applications (Salesforce). Experience with graphics software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and other Macromedia products) and knowledge of HTML is a plus
